stabbed nine times in the neck? man claims kim sae ron audio evidence alters story, admits photo was fake
The individual who said they possessed an audio clip related to the deceased actress Kim Sae Ron Initially, he claimed that he had been assaulted and stabbed multiple times in the neck by two unknown attackers in the U.S. But less than twelve hours later, his account shifted; he said he was only wounded in the arm, and a subsequent medical examination showed just one stab wound located on his right shoulder.
The photograph of the injury shown to Kim Se Ui, who leads the YouTube channel Garosero Research Institute (known also as HoverLab Inc.), turned out to be a standard image sourced from a website.
He blamed this issue on a miscommunication sparked by his American wife. Additionally, he acknowledged that he deliberately forwarded the audio recording to Kim Soo Hyun His agency was made up, yet he provided conflicting reasons for forwarding it.
The contentious audio purportedly captures deceased actress Kim Sa Eon admitting to dating actor Kim Soo Hyun during her teenage years. Nevertheless, YouTube content creator Lee Jin Ho published a forensic voice examination stating that the voice in the clip was produced using artificial intelligence technology.
Lee further mentioned that the individual confronted Kim Soo Hyun’s management company with a demand for a substantial amount of money. Representatives from Kim Soo Hyun’s side verified that the contents of the recording were untrue and decided to disregard it.
Reporter Kang Kyung Yoon Sues Kim Se Ui of HoverLab
Various people who were cited in both the press conference and the audio recording have asserted that "the allegations are unfounded" and have initiated legal grievances, indicating their plan to pursue litigation.
On May 8th, Journalist Kang Kyung Yoon revealed that she has initiated legal action against Kim Se Ui, who leads HoverLab. This announcement came after a press conference held the day before during which Kim presented an alleged voice clip featuring the deceased Kim Sae Ron admitting to dating actor Kim Soo Hyun while underage. Additionally, Kim claimed that Kang threatened someone using this audio file in New Jersey.
Kang rebutted the claims, saying, "The person referred to as an informer is someone I consider a fraudster. He reached out to me in early April. I had no faith in him due to his mercenary nature and ambiguous background, which led me to disregard him." Kang maintained that the audio clip shown during the press briefing was a result of deepfaking technology employing artificial intelligence to simulate the deceased actress's voice.
Kang mentioned, "Following the press conference, friends of the deceased Kim Sae Ron reached out to me, expressing sentiments such as 'She would never speak that way, with constant profanity,' and 'This situation has left us stunned and deeply wounded.' She stressed that the material from the AI-generated audio clip is undoubtedly fictitious and does not require extensive examination to confirm its falsity."
To counter the allegations, Kang produced her immigration documents which indicated that she hadn’t left the country from January 1st through May 5th. She mentioned that her spouse encouraged her to promptly secure these papers as they watched the press briefing together. Following their advice, she obtained them and addressed the situation at Youtuber Lee Jin Ho’s media gathering. "I feared remaining quiet would mean losing an opportunity to vindicate myself," she explained. "I’ve never been to New Jersey nor interacted with what they call an informant. It is crucial that the authorities look into this swiftly—not only to protect my good standing but also to put an end to this nightmarish uncertainty."
Furthermore, individuals whose actual names were brought up at the press conference by Kim Se Ui—including lawyer Ko Sang Rok, lawyer Kang Yong Seok, and Media Watch CEO Byun Hee Jae—have similarly announced their intention to seek both civil and criminal legal remedies.
