WATCH: Chaos Erupts as Man Is Apprehended Behind KTLA Live Report

( KTLA ) — According to KTLA’s Carlos Herrera’s report on Saturday morning provided previous night’s shooting At a college campus in Inglewood, law enforcement officials apprehended an individual in the background.

“As this is currently developing,” Herrera stated at 8:04 a.m., as officers exited their patrol vehicles behind him.

The officers seemed to have rifles, but it's uncertain whether they were non-lethal ones.

KTLA contacted the Los Angeles Police Department regarding the incident. According to the department, officers were pursuing a reportedly stolen car near the intersection of Aviation and Century Boulevards.

The individual whose identity is still unknown was arrested peacefully.

Herrera noticed the suspect, apparently a man, getting out of the car with his hands up. The individual subsequently lay down on the pavement as police handcuffed him.

It remains uncertain whether he had weapons. No further information was readily provided at this time.

The detention did not stem from the shooting on Friday, where two individuals were admitted to the hospital.
