WATCH: Chaos Erupts as Man Is Apprehended Behind KTLA Live Report

( KTLA — According to KTLA’s Carlos Herrera’s report on Saturday morning mentioned here: previous night’s shooting At a college campus in Inglewood, law enforcement apprehended an individual off-site.

“At this moment, things are still developing,” Herrera stated at 8:04 a.m., as officers exited their patrol vehicles behind him.

The officers seemed to have rifles, but it's uncertain whether these were non-lethal weapons.

KTLA contacted the Los Angeles Police Department regarding the event. According to the department, officers were tracking a reportedly stolen car in the vicinity of Aviation Boulevard and Century Boulevard.

The individual whose identity is still unknown was apprehended "peacefully."

Herrera noticed the suspect, apparently a man, getting out of the car with his hands up. He subsequently lay down on the pavement as police handcuffed him.

It remains uncertain whether he had weapons. No further information was promptly released.

The detention did not stem from Friday’s shooting incident, where two individuals were admitted to the hospital.
