WATCH: Chaos Erupts as Man Is Apprehended Behind KTLA Live Report

( KTLA — As reported by KTLA’s Carlos Herrera on Saturday morning, previous night’s shooting At a college campus in Inglewood, law enforcement officials apprehended an individual in the background.

“At this very moment, things are developing,” Herrera stated at 8:04 a.m., as officers exited their patrol vehicles behind him.

The officers seemed to have rifles, but it's uncertain whether they were non-lethal ones.

KTLA contacted the Los Angeles Police Department regarding the event. According to the department, officers were pursuing a reportedly stolen car in the vicinity of Aviation Boulevard and Century Boulevard.

The individual whose identity is still unknown was apprehended "peacefully."

Herrera noticed the suspect, seemingly a man, getting out of the car with his hands up. The individual subsequently lay down on the pavement as police handcuffed him.

It remains uncertain whether he had weapons. No further information was readily provided at this time.

The detention was not connected to the shooting incident on Friday, where two individuals were admitted to the hospital.
