Teen Hospitalized After Being Struck by Truck While Crossing Road

RICHMOND, Mo. (KCTV) — A Missouri teen was rushed to a nearby hospital after being struck by an approaching pickup truck while trying to traverse a country road.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol suggests that at approximately 10:25 a.m. on Sunday, May 4, emergency services were dispatched to the vicinity of Missouri Highway T and 80th Street, located south of Richmond, following reports of a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.

Upon arrival, first responders reported finding a 15-year-old boy from Trenton who had tried to cross the road but was struck by a 2024 Ford F-150 being driven by a 40-year-old man from Camden.

The State Police reported that the teen was transported to Liberty Hospital due to potential slight injuries. Additional details have not been provided.
