Southern Miss Honors the Class of 2025 at Graduation Ceremony
HATTIESBURG, Miss. ( WHLT ) – The University of Southern Mississippi (USM) celebrated the Class of 2025 on Friday, May 9.
USM President Dr. Joe Paul awarded diplomas to undergraduate students from the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Nursing and the College of Business and Economic Development.
The Class of 2025 has 2,025 graduates from USM. Students said they’re proud to have reached the milestone and are ready to embark on their next journey.
“It’s an honor. Southern Miss was kind of my dream school coming into it. So, it’s such an honor to be graduating today and to be among a group of people that have worked so hard,” said Sarah McCammon, a graduate.
“It means that I’ve accomplished a lot of my dreams, have overcome a lot of challenges and just made my family proud,” said Jimena Peredes, another graduate.
USM will hold a graduation ceremony for its Gulf Park campus on May 10 at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi.
