One person robbed at knifepoint in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) — The Lexington Police department is looking into an incident where a person reportedly faced a knife-point robbery on Saturday afternoon.

Police officers were summoned to the Sportsman Motel on Winchester Road shortly after 3 p.m.

People claim that someone was attacked with a knife for their possessions, however, the authorities wouldn't disclose what items were stolen.

No one was injured. Arrests haven’t been made yet because police are continuing their search for the individual who is believed to be behind this.

The police declined to disclose any details regarding the suspect presently.

The investigation remains ongoing.
