Forest Ranger Jake Voter and his canine partner K9 Koda discovered the child in dense undergrowth approximately 300 yards from their residence. The youngster was conscious, bearing just slight abrasions, and was promptly attended to before being returned to her relatives.

Warden Voter and K9 Koda performed exceptionally well in finding the young toddler hiding in dense woodland covered with underbrush," stated Maine Game Warden Sgt. Scott Thrasher. "Considering the child's tender age, it was crucial to have several rescuers arrive swiftly and start searching right away. The successful outcome for both the toddler and their family is largely due to the outstanding collaboration among various organizations.
