Jamal Roberts Rockets to Top 3 on American Idol

In Monday evening's episode, Jamal Roberts, who hails from Meridian, stepped onto the American Idol platform to perform two pieces: "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" from 'Remember the Titans' and "Beauty and Beast" from 'Beauty and the Beast.'

Roberts' performance left both the audience and the judges astounded during the live Monday "Disney Night:Heroes and Villains" special of the program.

Jamal not only excelled, but also during the episode, they revealed the top 3, and Jamal was among those listed as one of the standout performers.
