EXCLUSIVE: Golden State Warrior sidelined for matchup with the Houston Rockets

On Wednesday evening, the Golden State Warriors will take on the Houston Rockets in Game 5 which takes place in Texas.

Just prior to the game, the team revealed that Jonathan Kuminga is sidelined because of an illness.

Through Anthony Slater from The Athletic: Jonathan Kuminga will not play tonight in Game 5 at Houston due to illness. He was added late as an injured player for the Warriors.

Kuminga was absent for Game 4.

Nevertheless, he participated for a total of 43 minutes in Games 2 and 3.

The player who won the championship with an NBA title in 2021 is putting up averages of 9.0 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists each game, connecting at a rate of 36.8% from the floor and 40.0% beyond the arc.

As reported by Dalton Johnson from NBC Sports Bay Area: Saw Jonathan Kuminga going through his pre-game warm-ups, however, he won’t be playing tonight due to being unwell.
