A unique musical event took place in Cambridge on Wednesday aimed at supporting Ukrainian troops.

The Sheffield Chamber Players led the performance in aid of the Ukraine Invisible Wounds Program.

Ukrainian artists carried the melodies of their nation.

"As a child, when I was around 6 or 7 years old, my great-grandfather would often sing this song for me, and he was always in tears," stated Taras Kushnir, a Ukrainian physician working with Global Response Medicine.

Many years have gone by, yet here we are facing the very same issue. Our troops continue to lose their lives, leaving behind grieving families. However, let me remind you that Ukraine is an extraordinary nation, and its people share that greatness. Alongside the entire international community, which possesses abundant compassion within them, we stand ready to put an end to this malevolent custom.
