During an appearance on Steeler Nation Radio , team owner Art Rooney II appeared to suggest that Rodgers has indicated he might be willing to join the team soon. The organization expressed interest in having him participate in part of the upcoming offseason training program.

Rooney stated, “We’re still receiving similar indications as those from recent times suggesting his desire to join us.” He added, “Given the upcoming intensification due to the start of our off-season training programs, I believe we might hear something definitive soon.
