Man Fatally Shot Near 2000 Block of N Fernwood Drive

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - Police are investigating a shooting in the 2000 block of North Fernwood Drive that left one man dead.

Police said they responded to the scene at around 3:10 p.m. Monday afternoon. Once they arrived police found the unresponsive victim in front of a residence, the victim died at the scene.

The Chatham County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Ahkeem Holmes, 31.

Police said they have identified a person of interest, but say this investigation is still ongoing. No arrests have been made.
