Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders are the sole quarterbacks expected to receive first-round grades when the NFL draft begins later this month, yet it appears increasingly probable that they won’t be the only ones among the quarterback ranks whose names will be announced within the initial 32 selections.

Jaxson Dart from Ole Miss has risen through the ranks of draft rankings and could possibly secure a spot in the first round. Some projections indicate he might be chosen by the Los Angeles Rams as the 26th pick. Meanwhile, Alabama’s Jalen Milroe has been invited to attend draft night festivities in Green Bay, which suggests he thinks an NFL team will select him during the initial evening of selections.

One of the potential suitors could be the New York Giants, as they intend to have a meeting with Milroe sometime later this week.

SOURCES: Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe plans to visit the #GiANTS, #RAMS, and #SEAHAWS following his recent meet-up with the #BROWNS earlier this week. According to Jordan Schultz from Fox Sports, On Wednesday, April 9, "The momentum behind Milroe's name has been building up over the past few weeks."

ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. forecasted on Tuesday that the Giants will select Milroe, though not until the No. 34 overall pick in the second round. He projected that the team will pass on a QB with the No. 3 pick and opt to select Penn State edge rusher Abdul Carter there instead after signing quarterbacks Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston to contracts this offseason.
