The winning numbers for the 1499 draw are 20, 23, 34, 19, 24, 31, 10, with the Powerball being 14.

It comes just two days after a Sydney woman won $100m in the biggest single prize draw in Oz Lotto history.

Just one winning entry has also taken out Thursday's Powerball draw, but further information about the winner is yet to be released.

One in six Australian adults had been expected to buy a ticket in Thursday's draw, which is the first time in four months the Powerball jackpot has reached a massive cash prize.

The most Powerball tickets sold in a single minute were 8000 at 6.17pm last November when the jackpot reached $100 million.

If you're after a bit of good fortune, the state that had the most Division 1 Lottery winners in the last financial year was Victoria, with winners from NSW raking in the most prize dollars.

There were four first prize winners from Sydney, Melbourne and Eli Waters/Urraween in Queensland.

"A ripper of a yarn from Burnie in Tasmania to Bassendean in WA, Salisbury in SA through to Sydney, hundreds of Aussies right across the country got a fair dinkum rush when they nabbed a division one win last financial year," The Lott bloke Matt Hart said.

“A few blokes reckon they pick outlets that've just dished out a big lottery prize, thinkin' the lucky vibes will stick with 'em, while others choose different places, convinced the chances of winin' again at the same spot are slim to none.”

Powerball has handed out 13 division one prizes so far this year, adding up to $313 million in winnings. However, if the jackpot doesn't get drawn next Thursday, the prize pool will reach $100 million for the following week's draw.

On a Tuesday, a lady from Elizabeth Hills in western Sydney, was "wide-eyed with disbelief" to find out she was the sole division one winner in that Tuesday's draw, copping $100m.

The girl had just finished watching Married At First Sight when she received the life-changing phone call.

“Fair dinkum! I'm still reelin' from it. I only splash out on lotteries when there's a major draw, and I saw $100 million up for grabs in Oz Lotto and thought I'd give it a go.”

“Fair dinkum, I still reckon I'm being pulled up or I'm in la la land.”

The gobsmacked winner could call it a day and chill, thanks to the millions, and would be able to pick up the keys to her own home.

”Fair dinkum, I love me job, but I won’t need to work seven days a week anymore. It’s actually really nice to think that I won’t need to work,” she said.

I'll finally be able to pick up my own place. Fair dinkum, I'm stoked!
