Throughout his career, the centre-back has had the opportunity to train with and play alongside some of the world's best, including Ronaldo, Rooney, John Terry, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and David de Gea.

He had no hesitation in nominating Bastian Schweinsteiger as the best player he'd ever played with.

‘He was 34, 35 at the time… I couldn't get anywhere near him and I'm 19 at this point, so I've got heaps of legs and energy!’ Tuanzebe said, shocking his interviewer.

‘He was always a step or two in front of me. He had control of the ball and was able to make me lose my footing.

‘He was absolutely brilliant in the box, I’ve never seen a player… he had an uncanny ability to stall the game clock.’

‘In four or five days of training, you might see him in the middle twice. It was bloody unbelievable.’

Schweinsteiger was considered one of the top midfielders of his era, winning heaps of accolades with Bayern Munich and the 2014 World Cup with the German national team.

Even though he was in the tail-end of his career, it was seen as a real coup when United signed him in 2015, but the move didn't quite eventuate as planned and he was later humiliatingly axed from the first-team by Jose Mourinho.

He signed with Chicago Fire in March 2017, retiring from the sport two years later.
