Ukraine-Russia war can ‘only be solved’ on ‘Ukraine’s terms’

Defence Minister Richard Marles says the conflict between Russia and Ukraine can only be resolved on “Ukraine’s terms” as Russia is the “aggressor”.

US President Donald Trump has stepped up his criticism of Ukraine's wartime President, calling Volodymyr Zelensky a "dictator" in a post on Truth Social.

“Only a resolution to this conflict can be achieved on Ukraine’s terms,” Mr Marles said to Sky News Australia.

“Russia's the aggressor here; they're the ones who went into Ukraine without permission, who invaded Ukraine.”
