UK willing to send troops to Ukraine to restore peace

The UK's Prime Minister, Keir Starmer, has stated he's willing to send British troops if needed, before a crisis meeting in France takes place.

International forces will be needed to oversee any peace agreement that is reached.

According to the British daily newspaper The Daily Telegraph, Mr Starmer admits that troops could be put in harm's way if Russia launches another attack.

US President Donald Trump has also made a comment, saying both the Russian and Ukrainian leaders want the conflict to finish.
