Reportedly removed its five biggest "savings" from its website's "wall of receipts" after multiple media investigations highlighted a series of significant errors.

DOGE stated its initial "receipts" revealed approximately 20 per cent of the claimed $55 billion in savings. The Times observed that even this portion couldn't be reconciled with the figures DOGE presented.

Some critics reckon that Musk's team of young tech experts, straight out of uni, don't get how the contract system works or even basic accounting principles.
