Costco opening 6 new US stores next month, plus another in April: Here's when and where

About a month ago, the retail company based in Issaquah, Washington, announced plans to open 29 new locations within its 2025 fiscal year, which will end on August 31, 2025. Six of those new locations will be opening next month in the United States.
Costco currently operates 897 warehouses – 617 of which are in the United States and Puerto Rico – and with the opening of those six new US locations, it will have a total of 903 locations.

In addition to the 617 Costco warehouses in the US, the company also has locations in Canada (109), Mexico (41), Japan (36), the UK (29), Korea (19), Australia (15), Taiwan (14), China (7), Spain (5), France (2), and one each in Iceland, New Zealand, and Sweden.
Here are six new Costco warehouse clubs opening in March.
Costco is set to open six new stores in March 2025. Here are the locations and their scheduled opening dates:

A Costco spokesperson said the company doesn't disclose specific opening dates for new stores, as they can be subject to change due to various factors like construction timelines, local regulations, and other issues.
New Costco warehouses are set to open in April; sales are anticipated to increase
Costco will also be opening three new locations in the coming weeks.

- Minami Alps, Japan (April 2025)
- Ardeer, Australia (2025)
The company's revenue increased by 8.2% to $113.55 billion over the first 22 weeks of its fiscal year, which started on September 2, 2024. Sales in the US market rose by 6.6% during this period, which included the holiday shopping season. The company had previously announced that US sales had risen by 9.2% in the four-week period ending on February 2.
When Costco releases its second quarter 2025 earnings on March 6, experts surveyed by S&P Global Market Intelligence are forecasting revenue to exceed 7% to $63 billion and net income over $1.8 billion, a 4.5% increase from the same time frame last year.
