China ‘making a statement’ with warships near Australia

Sky News commentator Prue MacSween says China is making a "statement" by having their warships re-enter Australia's exclusive economic zone after conducting live fire drills in the Tasman Sea.

“They're making a statement … not only to Australia but to the world that they've got every intention of taking control of this area,” Ms MacSween said.

“Our door is always open, mate.”
