As a result, archaeologists sought assistance from the country's Army Mine Action Service to excavate the site safely. Remnants of old structures were also discovered at the same location, and archaeologists believe those structures were once part of a burgus, a small Roman fortress or tower.
This suggests that the owner held a position of significant social status, likely that of a military officer rather than a regular soldier.
