3 rule changes that could be coming to the NFL

Additional rule changes are expected to be implemented in the NFL this offseason.

The owners of the NFL will vote on proposed changes in March at the annual league meeting. To pass any new rule, 24 out of the 32 owners must vote in its favor.

Here are three proposed NFL rule changes to watch out for this offseason, including two concerning kickoffs.

Moving touchbacks

The 2024 NFL season was the first to feature the new dynamic kickoff rule, but kickoffs might undergo additional changes in 2025.

McKay believes that owners will consider making attempts to convert fourth-and-15s or fourth-and-20s as a way for teams to regain possession.

Banning the "Tush Push" or "Brotherly Shove"
