Want to Work From Home For An Airline? Check Out These Companies!
When I search for work-from-home jobs, I often come across various opportunities as a work-from-home airline representative. It may surprise you to know that some reputable airlines actually hire agents to work from home to book flights and handle customer service tasks.
For this current post, I have conducted research and created a list of four airlines that occasionally have home-based job openings.
One potential drawback is that some of these companies require you to work on-site for a certain period before being allowed to work from home. Thus, this option may not be available to you if you're not in a location that allows for on-site work.
Please keep in mind that just because these companies are listed, it doesn't necessarily mean they're always hiring. This reference list is meant to help you stay informed about potential companies to watch for remote job opportunities.
In addition, the jobs listed below are based in the US. If you're aware of international airline jobs, feel free to mention them in the comments!
Airline companies are looking for competent and knowledgeable remote workers to join their team and handle various tasks. Each of these roles plays a crucial part in ensuring seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
1. Southern Airways Express
This company sometimes has job openings for virtual call center representatives. These vacancies seem to be available to anyone in the US, but I'm not entirely certain about this.
According to the latest job posting, the hourly wage is between $13 and $15. This is a full-time position, requiring an 8-hour workday. A high school diploma or GED is sufficient for educational requirements, but the job requires at least a year of experience in a call center, and having prior experience in the airline industry is preferred.
The job posting requires proficiency in two languages: English and Spanish.
2. Breeze Airways
They are currently seeking candidates for a position titled "airport agents" with the possibility of splitting time between working from an office location and working from home. Unfortunately, the job posting is not entirely clear, so it's uncertain whether they are hiring for both in-office and remote positions at this time.
You will need to reside near the RSW airport in Fort Myers, FL, in order to be eligible for this role.
As a remote worker, you'll be communicating with our guests mainly through digital channels, but occasional phone calls may be necessary.
If you're hired, you'd need to travel occasionally to Breeze's headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah, for meetings and training, and your travel arrangements will be taken care of by us as needed.
Requires at least two years of experience providing customer service to past customers. Hourly pay is between $15 and $16.50, depending on whether you work at home or at the airport.
3. Sun Country Airlines
They occasionally have airline customer service and reservation support work-from-home job openings.
They can hire from any U.S. state except for California, Illinois, Massachusetts, Montana, North Dakota, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Washington, Washington D.C., and any US Territory.
The pay is $16.60 per hour.
You'll need to have full-time availability and some past experience in customer service to be qualified.
4. Eagle's Wings Air
Eagle's Wings Air occasionally has work-from-home customer service representative positions available in Tampa, FL and potentially other locations.
Training is free. Indeed lists the pay rate at $13.50 hourly.
Eagle's Wings Air would prefer it if you have at least three years of experience working in a call center. They also prefer that you have earned a degree from a community college, such as an Associate's degree.
.
Break a leg if you decide to apply for any open work from home airline jobs. And again, please don't get discouraged if the jobs aren't open now. They come and go regularly.
If we discover additional work-from-home airline job opportunities, we will list them here. This service is free.

3. **Alaska Airlines**: Occasionally, they offer remote or virtual positions, which can be found on their main website.
Along with the companies I've mentioned previously, the following companies have also provided remote airline job opportunities in the past.
To find them, you'd need to visit each company's "Careers" page and do a search using the keywords "remote" or "work from home." Sometimes the "Careers" page may also have filtering options that let you narrow down the job listings to remote-only positions.
- American Airlines
- Delta Airlines
- United Airlines
- Southwest Airlines
- JetBlue Airlines
- British Airways
- Air Canada
Most of the time, the remote positions will be in customer service or reservations departments. If the "remote" or "work from home" keywords don't yield relevant results, you can filter by department and see what's available in those departments.
Good luck!
