US President Donald Trump announces $500 billion AI joint venture

RMIT Information Systems Lecturer Dr Samar Fatima said US President Donald Trump's $500 billion dollar artificial intelligence project is a "bold move made by the President".

The Australian Prime Minister wrapped up his first day in office by announcing 'Stargate', a multi-billion-dollar AI research project.

"The battle between countries over the artificial intelligence race has been heating up rapidly day by day," Dr Fatima told Sky News Australia.

“America's on top in most areas when it comes to the artificial intelligence competition among all the countries.”
