Stranded astronaut Suni Williams performs spacewalk at ISS
NASA astronaut Sunita Williams, one of the crew members of the Boeing Starliner, who have been based at the International Space Station for several months, took part in a spacewalk on Thursday to conduct some repairs on the orbiting laboratory.
Replace a reflector device used for navigational data on one of the international docking adapters.
Astronaut Butch Wilmore several months ago arrived in Boeing's new Starliner spacecraft. A problem with the spacecraft's thrusters left NASA with no other option but to send the Starliner back to Earth without an astronaut, leaving astronauts Butch Wilmore and Williams on the space station.
They are both scheduled to return next month, accompanied by Hague and Russian cosmonaut Alexandr Gorbunov.
Lacy, and her colleague John have extensive experience in space travel, having previously visited the International Space Station. This is Lacy's eighth spacewalk.
