Steak 'n Shake may change the taste of its food starting in a few weeks.

In the United States, most Belgian-style fries are prepared with vegetable oil, and sometimes, a small portion of duck or beef tallow is also used.

At Steak 'n Shake, we aim to offer the very best, but we can't make everyone happy. Our priority is to satisfy those who are looking for fries made the genuine way.

All Steak 'n Shake locations will be frying their french fries with beef tallow by the end of February 2025.
