her weight loss journey.

"I finally did it. I stepped on my scale today and reached my weight loss goal," she posted on Instagram this past Saturday, January 25.

"These are the first time I've seen the number that low since 2014," the 36-year-old musician admitted.

Singer Lizzo shared two photos of herself wearing activewear, alongside screenshots from her fitness tracking app.

A graphic showed that she had decreased her Body Mass Index by 10.5% and total body fat by 16% since January 16, 2023.

Remember, anything is possible if you have the determination and motivation to achieve it. It's time to set new goals and make them a reality.

The performer who is known for being on stage at "About Damn Time" has been open about working towards her goal of weight loss for some time.

Lizzo said she's concentrating on becoming healthier overall rather than just focusing on losing weight.

She's transitioned her mindset from "body positivity" to "body neutrality."

“She’s not going to sugarcoat it - the truth is, she doesn’t love her body every single day.”

She admitted that there are some days when she really loves her body, but others when she doesn't feel particularly positive about it.

“Body positivity has shifted away from the outdated conventional view; it's now more about embracing body neutrality.”

Body Positivity is a social movement that promotes accepting oneself naturally, regardless of body shape, size, gender, or race. Its goal is to challenge societal beauty standards that often value slender body types.

Body neutrality suggests that people should feel anything they want to about their body, without feeling judged. This means there's no need to love your body just the way it is.

She said: "I've been losing weight very gradually."

There's a day that never goes by when I regret taking a walk or doing some Pilates, she continued. "I take time every day to put my body first and give it some love.

Although she is happy to discuss her weight loss openly, Lizzo does not wish to hear anyone comment about her body.

“She shouldn't have to talk about her personal life,” she said.

Lizzo shared her weight loss progress on TikTok back in September 2024 with a video featuring before and after footage of her standing in front of the camera. "Fine both ways," her caption stated.
