Live Nation Donates $1 Million to Help Music Community Members Impacted by LA Fires

"Los Angeles is home to many individuals who play a vital role in making live music happen, and Crew Nation is continuing its core mission of providing support to this hardworking community during unexpected difficult times," said Michael Rapino, president and CEO of Live Nation Entertainment, in a statement on Friday.

As part of its dedication, Crew Nation, which aims to support and assist musicians, live music crews, and others within the entertainment industry during difficult times, will soon be accepting applications for grants of up to $5,000 for individuals who are currently working in the entertainment sector.

A star-studded benefit concert is set for January 30th. Notable performers including Billie Eilish, Lady Gaga, Stevie Nicks, and Katy Perry are among those scheduled to perform to raise funds for relief efforts in response to the recent wildfires in the Los Angeles area. The event will take place at both the Intuit Dome and the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.

He took his album "Hurry Up Tomorrow" and his Rose Bowl concert off the schedule out of respect for the victims.
