Here’s the schedule for the NFC & AFC championship games
The Buffalo Bills, led by quarterback Josh Allen, will face off against the Kansas City Chiefs, spearheaded by quarterback Patrick Mahomes, in the AFC championship game, marking their fourth postseason encounter in the past five years.
The Mahomes vs. Allen game will take place on Sunday at 6:30pm ET, while the Eagles vs. Commanders game will kick off championship Sunday at 3pm ET.
Allen scored two touchdowns and the Bills took down the Ravens, who were led by Lamar Jackson, 27-25 in a divisional game last Sunday. Mark Andrews dropped a potential tying 2-point conversion pass from Jackson with 1:33 left to play, and Buffalo managed to hold on for the win.
The Chiefs have beaten the Bills three years in a row in the playoffs, including the championship game four years ago in Kansas City. However, the Bills were the only team that was able to defeat Kansas City's top players when they faced them this season, winning 30-21 at their home in Week 11.
It'll be quarterback Jalen Hurts, running back Saquon Barkley, and the Philadelphia Eagles facing off against quarterback Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders in the NFC championship game.
on Saturday night.
Barkley rushed for 205 yards, highlighted by touchdown runs of 62 and 78 yards. The Philadelphia defense made a key stop at the end of the drive, as Jalen Carter sacked Matthew Stafford for an 9-yard loss to the 22. Stafford's following fourth-down pass attempt fell incomplete, a fourth-and-11 conversion.
The NFC East rivals, the Eagles and Commanders, have faced each other three times this year with each team winning at home. The Eagles won by a score of 26-18 in a Thursday night game on November 14. The Commanders then turned it around with a 36-33 victory on December 22, a game in which Hurts suffered a concussion in the first quarter.
Backup quarterback Kenny Pickett placed the Philadelphia team in a spot where they could emerge victorious. However, DeVonta Smith let a key pass slip through his fingers on 3rd down, which would have allowed the Eagles to run out the clock. Instead, the Eagles' kicker Jake Elliott successfully made a field goal to put his team up 33-28. Then, with just two minutes left in the final stretch, Daniels let out another thrilling comeback, delivering a 9-yard TD pass to Jamison Crowder with just 6 seconds remaining on the clock.
The Philadelphia Eagles (16-3) are headed to the NFC title game for the second time in three years, marking the ninth time in franchise history this has happened. Currently, they are at a 4-4 record and have managed to win the Super Bowl once.
The Commanders are heading to the conference championship game for the first time in 33 years and the seventh time in their franchise history. They're 5-1 in the NFC title game and have won three Super Bowls in the past. Fresh-faced quarterbacks who are entering their first year in the league have historically fared poorly in conference championship games, with a record of 0-5, so Daniels will attempt to break that trend.

It'll be the seventh consecutive AFC championship game for quarterback Patrick Mahomes, coach Andy Reid, and the Kansas City Chiefs. They've had a 4-2 record so far and have won three Super Bowls, including two in a row. Kansas City is trying to become the first team in the Super Bowl era to win three championships in a row.
The Bills (15-4) have a 4-2 record in AFC championship games, but a 0-4 record in the Super Bowl, with a four-game losing streak from the 1990-93 seasons.
