President Donald Trump said he would be open to the idea of Tesla CEO Elon Musk or Oracle cofounder Larry Ellison purchasing TikTok.
Trump said he's receptive to the possibility of Ellison or Musk purchasing TikTok.
When asked by a reporter if he would be open to Elon Musk purchasing the app, Trump said, "I would be, if he wanted to buy it, yes."
"He'd also like Larry to make the purchase," he added.
On X on Sunday, he stated that he has "been against a TikTok ban for a long time" since it contradicts the principles of freedom of speech.
